Text Size

Users with visual difficulties may find that the default text size used on this site may make it difficult to read. Most of the text on this site can be changed by adjusting the settings in your browser:

  Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 for Windows
(1) Select "View" from the menu at the top of the browser
(2) From the drop-down menu, select "Text Size"
(3) Select the required size
(Keyboard shortcuts: Hold down the 'Ctrl' key and press either the '+' or the '-' keys)
(Status Bar shortcut: Select the magnification required using the  icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen)

  Mozilla Firefox 1.5 for Windows
(1) Select "View" from the menu at the top of the browser
(2) From the drop-down menu, select "Text Size"
(3) Select either "Increase" or "Decrease" as required
(Keyboard shortcuts: Hold down the 'Ctrl' key and press either the '+' or the '-' keys)

  Opera 8.51 for Windows
(1) Select "View" from the menu at the top of the browser
(2) From the drop-down menu, select "Zoom Size"
(3) Select the zoom value required
(Keyboard shortcuts: Press either the '+' or the '-' keys)

Menus

Users may access the menus without the use of the mouse by the use of 'Access Keys'.

The way in which Access keys are used depends on the browser you are using:

  Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 for Windows
(1)Press the 'Alt' key and the appropriate access key together and release - then
(2) Press the 'Enter' key

  Mozilla Firefox 1.5.x for Windows
(1) Hold down the 'Alt' key
(2) Press the appropriate access key

  Opera 8.5x for Windows
(1) Hold down the 'Shift' and the 'Esc' keys together, then release them
(2) Press the appropriate access key

Links

Users can move between links with the pages by using the 'Tab' key. When the required link has been selected, press the 'Enter' key
