Published as lists of merchants and tradesmen from the 17th century, trade and other directories become increasingly useful for genealogists and local and house historians throughout the 18th and 19th century and become more comprehensive into the 20th century. As more are published online and become searchable by name these name rich lists can add colour to your family history and provide evidence of where your ancestors lived and what they did in their lives
There will be a Question and Answer session.
