A one day course that will introduce participants to the main sources needed to research a house history. The students will learn how to find out which historical documents can be used to discover who owned and lived in a house, investigate its architectural history, interpret and analyse a selection of key resources, build up a picture who the people were and historical events that shaped its development and plan their own house history research.
