In this half-day course David Holman wants to help you break down your Cornish brick walls and to get you started on your newly discovered Cornish family.

He offers two sessions:

Session 1

David shows how to use the data available on the web to link to data held by the Cornwall Family History Society and elsewhere in Cornwall.

Session 2

David discusses where your Cornish ancestors may have moved to during the Great Cornish Diaspora of the 19th century.

David HOLMAN is an experienced Family Historian from Cornwall, currently living near St Austell. He has served as the Chairman and Vice President of Cornwall FHS and as the Chairman of the FFHS. He has assisted in producing a book ‘The Cornish Family’. Over the last 35 years he has researched his own family in Cornwall back to the 17th century and has toured around the world helping others research their Cornish families.
