Governance

This page provides an index to information published on this web site regarding the governance of the Society.

During 2008 and 2009 the Society undertook a Strategic Review. Under the invigilation of an independent consultant key surveys were undertaken and an 'away day' held. Participants included Trustees, staff, key stakeholders, Fellows, Members and Non-Members to obtain a cross section of opinion. The resulting Strategy document has been produced and incorporated into the direction and running of the Society. Monitoring of the 'live' document is carried out via a Business Plan which is reviewed monthly by the Operations Committee and comprehenisve monthly management accounts (reporting against the annually prepared budget), all of which are reported to the Board of Trustees. You may download a copy of the Strategic Plan (pdf)
