The world's biggest family history show is coming north  and the Society of Genealogists' Family History Show remains at the heart of the world's largest genealogy event along with the Society' Ask the Experts Area and the SoG programme of talks with renowned experts from north and south of the border.
The full timetable of talks for each day can be found on the Who Do You Think You Are? Live website.

Tickets for the talks are free to collect on the day from the Workshop ticket desk, located in the far right hand corner of the hall. Alternatively you can guarantee a seat by buying your ticket in advance at a cost of £2 when you book your ticket for the show through the Who Do You Think You Are? Live  Website.

Ask the Experts

The Society of Genealogists' Ask the Experts Area provides an opportunity to get some one-to-one guidance on your family history research. Whether you are stuck finding an elusive ancestor or just need some help to start, this is the perfect chance to pose specific questions to an expert who can provide invaluable advice.

Twenty minute appointments can be booked on the day by simply visiting the reception desk in the Ask the Experts Area  on the gallery level. You will be asked to fill in a pre-booking form so you can be matched to the appropriate expert.

Please note Ask the Expert sessions are not bookable in advance unless you purchase an Beginner ticket to the show through the Who Do You Think You Are? Live website.
