Electronic Workflows for the Family Historian - A half-day course on 20 July

Notes in your bag, family tree sketches on bits of paper, photos and print outs in the spare room, searches all over the web – loving every minute but you don’t have a real plan?

Graham Walter wants to show you how to adopt workflows to help you focus on one challenge at a time.

A workflow is just a set of steps performed regularly to reach specific goal. You are probably already using workflows in a casual way. If you make a note of the steps you take when you are successful, you can remind yourself later and then repeat the sequence.

Graham shows how using workflows can enhance your research goals and help you where you have gaps. He covers some useful digital tools to document your workflows plus some that process the flows.

A half-day course on Saturday, 20 July (10:30 - 13:00) with Graham Walter. Cost £20.00/£16.00 SoG Members. Places should be pre-booked, through our website or by telephone: 020 7553 3290 (Tue-Thu & Sat). Do you have a question? email the events department.
