Else Churchill – Inscribed on the JGSGB’s Roll of Honour

Congratulations to Else Churchill, the SoG’s Genealogist. On Sunday 17 June, the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain inscribed her name on their Roll of Honour. At a Members’ social event, Else received her scroll, marking her ‘support for, and her enthusiastic championing of, the work of the JGSGB’, presented by Doreen Berger.

Since its inception in February 1992 theJGSGB has evolved as an internationally acclaimed Jewish Genealogical Society. It owes much of its development to those individuals who over the years have made, and continue to make, major contributions to its success. Council is resolved to recognise those who tender distinguished service to the Society or make major contributions to Jewish genealogy by the award of a place in this Roll of Honour.
