In the Name of God, Amen: Wills Workshop on 28 September 2019

Whether your ancestors owned large swathes of land in the north of England or came from a more humble background in the West Country, the chances are that somewhere along the line some of them will have left wills.

Wills are among the most important sources for family historians usually containing invaluable information about family relationships. This talk will look at how to access wills and how you can use them to get a better understanding of what life was really like for your ancestors.

A half-day workshop on Saturday, 28 September (10:30-13:00) with Dave Annal, cost £20.00/£16.00 SoG members. Places should be pre-booked, through our website or by telephone: 020 7251 8799 (Tue-Thu & sat). Do you have a question? email the events department.
