Life in Colonial America 1700-1790 - A Half-day Course on 27 October

We will look at the expansion of colonial life in the 1700s, the movement westward and southwards.  New migrants the Scots Irish, the Palatines from Germany and Switzerland and the Quakers, what influence did they have? Indentured servants, how was it organised?  We will learn more about the Great Wagon Road opened up the ‘Back country’ where many of the new colonists settled .
