To validate you will need your Membership Card which has your Membership number on the front and the Card number below the barcode on the reverse side. Do it Now

If you do not have your Membership Card please send an email with your name and postcode (or similar).

Members of the Society of Genealogists can now login to MySoG. MySoG currently allows members to update some of their personal details, to renew their membership using secure online payment options and to access the Society's Data Online (previously known as the Members' Area).

During the next few months MySoG will be enhanced to give access to the new online bookshop (also available to non-members) where members can obtain discounts on SoG publications and other benefits. Members will also be able reserve places and receive tickets for the wide range of courses, lectures, tutorials and other events with membership discounts automatically applied. Additional facilities are expected to be added during 2011. In the meantime Members can order books and tickets for events using the existing online shop

Once logged-in you have access 24/7 to SoG Data Online that contains all SoG data published on line plus additional information only available to members. You can no longer access SoG data using Origins

If you are not a member you can carry out a free surname search of the SoG Data Online using the search facility on this page. To join the Society please go to Benefits of Membership where you can download an application form.
