Open access area
The open access area, located within the Society's Bookshop, has been equipped with 2 computers which give free access to the following family history websites:
- ancestry.com
- ancestry.co.uk
- findmypast.co.uk
- familyrelatives.com
- TNA Documents on-line
It is operated on a self-service basis, and gives you the opportunity to sample some of the resources within the library . Access is free, but this does not include entry to the main library where our normal visitor fees apply.
The open access area is available to use on a first come first served basis from 10am to 5.30pm on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, and 10am - 7.30pm on Thursdays. Printouts can be made at a charge of 25p per copy.
