Advice sessions at the Society

The Society runs free advice sessions at its library on alternate Saturdays from 2pm. Each session lasts for 30 minutes and is open to both members and non-members. To book a session, telephone the library on 020 7702 5485 or email us. Note sessions will take place the same day as our morning library tours

We have a number of online record guides to help you in your research.

Face-to-Face Internet Sessions for Beginners and Refreshers-  Suspended until further notice

We also offer free 45 minute one-to-one introductory sessions on some Saturdays which alternate with our library tours . These are for beginners new to family history websites such as findmypast and ancestry, as well those feeling they need a refresher. Places can be booked through our website or by email.
